Channappa Gaiangappa is a 2006 graduate and a 2024 Tarr Fellow. Channappa’s project is based in Karnataka, India and focuses on achieving organic food security through rebuilding soil fertility and climate restoration with better utilization of biomass. Through this project, Channappa will provide technical assistance to farmers and work with local schools to encourage sustainable agriculture practices and income-generating activities.
